Power point or Prezi? Which application do I prefer to work?

I already have used both, but I have to say that the innovation is something characteristic in the applications of prezi, it´s a  very useful and dynamic  technological tool, that allows to create presentations in 3D, share by e-mail, save in your account,add images, templates, videos, etc. The use of all these issues get´s public visual attention, that´s why prezi is very useful for visual learners, even for students with listening skill,  by watching and listening a video in prezi, they could have more retention.

 

Teachers can apply this tool to present topics in a more attractive way than using a typical power point presentation, and even students could use prezi to make their own presentations and show it, allowing them to learn by themselves; this tool makes the class more interesting.

 

However, a power point presentation doesn´t need an internet connection, but you have to use many animations, transactions, etc to make it more attractive.

In my opinion, nowadays, we live in a world of technology where we need to constantly update us as to the new technologies that are emerging because they are created in order to be better than the previous ones and as teachers we can use them to take the greatest possible advantage.
